DeWeese Upholstery has worked from Amelia's West Main Street for half a century — long enough to re-do some of the same family sofas twice, a generation apart.

The work has ranged from neighborhood recliners to a custom built by George Barris — the man behind Hollywood's most famous cars. Every piece gets the same bench.
